Hello!

Thank you for stopping by Zack’s Aquatic Services. My goal is providing fisheries maintenance consultation and services to a wide variety of waterfront environments.

From recreational, home or sporting ranch owners to larger scale situations like marinas, wetland/waterfowl hunting/shallow water niches or fish farms.

Services and consultations focus on preventing harmful algal blooms, managing aquatic weeds and shoreline plants, and much more.

Reducing nutrient pollution in waterways has many benefits. This is often the foundational method utilized for harmful algal blooms and other invasive growth that complicate fisheries and recreational water use. In aquaculture, utilizing a nutrient load and moving its potential into the animal food chain rather than the plant food chain creates a clean, abundant fishery.

One of the most important factors in my experience as a field tech for a pond company in the beginning, up to my current role as an independent contractor in consulting, education, and service; is the necessity of healthy gas exchange at the microbial level. Oxygen rich aquatic environments perform well through the exchange of carbon and nutrients at the nano-scale. Water flow is important as well. Mechanical or natural aeration is often required for optimal performance in a waterway of any kind. Water movement in addition to microbial stimulation combines to create the most beautiful and usable water source and/or optimizes fishery potential, with minimal or no use of pesticides required for controlling weeds, algae, or shoreline plants.

Microbial stimulant and production technology exists for nutrient and carbon fixing at the foundation of the animal food chain. Pollution remediation can be managed with similar methods. These microbes, such as diatoms and bacillus, to name a couple favorites out of the vast array, act as natures purest and most abundant/effective form of water filtration and healthy gas exchange in the water column. Working with these amazing creatures we can create abundant fisheries and clean water for all types of situations whether it be industrial, agricultural or recreational. Utilizing this resource we can drastically reduce pesticide/algaecide/herbicide used in industrial and/or recreational water management practices. Pesticides often lead to cyclical patterns of use. They damage the food chain rather than utilizing it for nutrient or pollution remediation that could drastically reduce harmful or invasive algal and weed blooms. Many of these pesticides can pollute the protein we grow for food, or build up in sediment layers and remain at constant levels in the natural food chain of waterways. Leading to long term toxicity issues where we want to swim, fish, hunt or graze stock. Let’s clean it up and thrive! Thanks again for stopping by and don’t hesitate to contact me about water and waterfront stewardship on your property. I can offer the fastest track to efficient, effective, health and production, all things aquatic.
